A violin. And I didn't even ask for one! I bring out my acoustic for consolation when I play enough violin for a while.

Silverware, mixing bowls, placemats w/matching cloth napkins, pajamas, ornaments for when I have a tree of my own, a "sushi for two" set, a sushi cookbook, a book on postpartum depression (yeah, my grandma's weird), a statuette of Miss Piggy dressed as a nurse saying "Nursing is Moi's Life" (yeah, my Uncle John's weird), other stuff, and a bunch of giftcards including a total of $125 to Starbucks. w00t!

That's right, it's 7:30pm and we have yet to open presents. In fact, we have to eat dinner first. Then we might think about it.

I need to find somewhere else to spend holidays before I go crazy.

Earth 2160, Hegemonia: Legions of Iron (a pc game in the style of Imperium Galactica 2), a cross necklace (but we told it a joke and it started to feel better), gloves, a pen my uncle lathed the black walnut wooden parts, a book by my favorite author, and serenity... FULLSCREEN (eat that Ryan) :P

A sweater, a very warm vest, four pairs of pants (which I did put on my list, but several of them are going to need to be returned due to their make), and lots of books... the prequel to WoT, Knife of Dreams, Freakonomics, the Aeneid, an Elie Wiesel book, the Real Ultimate Power book... yeah, that's it. For the record, I only put Knife of Dreams on my list. My first Christmas/birthday in probably 10 years in which I didn't receive the video game I asked for, among other things. And I'm honestly not sure if I can do everybody justice by reading all of that. I guess a chunk of my grandmother's monetary gift will have to go towards Civ 4 tomorrow.
