Yay Side Jobs! Being a Dresden fan that was late to the party, this was my first experience with these stories. I also really enjoyed The Warrior. I was curious how Michael and the Carpenters were doing after Michael's injury, but I never thought that he got a raw deal. Considering what Michael did, catastrophic injury was the only thing that would get him out of being a Knight of the Cross, other than death, which would have been horrible for everyone. So all things considered, it was the best thing. Aftermath was also interesting. I was very curious how things would be in Chicago after Harry's death, and while this didn't answer all of my questions (where are Bob, Mouse and Mister?), it covers the more important people. Can not wait until Ghost Story comes out!
I don't know about you, but I was really expecting Murphy to find Harry (in one state or another) at the end of "Aftermath." Probably because we know he dropped into the water, the main baddies were evil fish people.... I put those together and figured, "Ah! They found him in the murky depths and are holding him for their own nefarious deeds!"
