joanofarcadia.com went off-line a few months back and had to be moved to a new web server. All of the stories will be back online within the next few months. When a story is reposted, I reactivate the link in this message. Please check back here or directly to the JoA forum for updates.
I am pleased that you are enjoying the stories. We love feedback. If you have a comment, please post it in the forum after the story.

I'm trying to find a link to the Season 3 episodes but I keep getting dead ends. Is it still available? I am teaching teens at our church and would like to go beyond Season 2. Thanks!
When I originally wrote the stories, I was a bit sloppy with punctuation and grammar. I'm trying to correct that before reposting each story. Just a guesstimate, about two or three weeks per story.

MShaffer, did you write Dance of Desire? It's so unlike your other stories. It's long. The characters ramble. It doesn't seem to be going anywhere (though I admit I've only read the first two parts). One thing the author has going for him is that he knows a lot--about art, politics, science. But Dance of Desire is hard to read. All those parentheses don't help, but make things worse. Your other stories are a lot clearer--and similar to the shows.

The author for Dance of Desire uses the pseudo-name PHAEDRUS. Previous to this story his writings have been mostly poetry. He enjoys providing rich descriptive detail and is a master at the use of allusion. As you have gleaned, he is quite knowledgeable in the areas of art, politics, and science. To fully appreciate his story, you will have to understand and perhaps do some additional reading on the pictures and themes that he alludes to. I feel this story is truly a work of art, difficult as it may be to read at times.
