I'm not sure. I sway back and forth. I always wake up thrilled; the reality is disappointing. But it doesn't necessarily affect the day. However, bad dreams definitely affect my day because they leave me tired, not well-rested and left in thought for the remainder of the day. They're stressful. I don't remember my dreams much anymore; I guess that's a good thing.

Definitely the wonderful dreams.

Either way you wake up with neither. Why not have a happy while you can. And nightmares tend to really freak me out, and I don't get any sleep...and the rest that you said.

Sometimes the happy dreams put you in those "on top of the world" moods where you feel like you can do anything...and even if they aren't real, at least for me, they set a nice tone for the day ahead.

In the end, you are probably correct. The happy dreams, though disappointing because they're not real, are much better than the restless, bad dreams. I can agree with that.

yeah, I'd go with the good dream even though sometimes it really sucks bad to wake up and find out it wasn't real at all

I agree. As I told someone else, I rarely remember my dreams anymore. But when I do, I must cope with the question above.
