I'd like to believe that Democrats are better, but I recall most Dems voted for the Patriot Act without even reading it and gave carte blanche to Dubya to pursue the Iraq War (which has not ended yet, is bleeding the treasury, will keep doing so for at least a quarter century, and at best will mutate across to border to one or more *stan's). Incidentally, our saviour, the son of Jor-El voted with the crowd to reauthorize the Seditious Act. Personally, I think America will get some new tires, a nice paint job and a new air freshener, but the engine won't get rebuilt, the shocks will give out completely and we'll take a second mortgage to finish paying the car loan.
