The tap water in San Diego tastes bad. Same with the water from Worcester. When I lived in Woburn? Well, the water was so bad they made a movie about it.
When I lived in Steamboat Springs, Colorado the water was just as good as you'd get from a spring, because that's what we used. When you ran it faster, it wouldn't create foam and bubbles, for example. When I moved to Maine and commented that "the water foams here" a friend of mine, who lived there all of his life, said "but that's what water does."
I avoid Dasani, Aquifina, and Evian... they taste terrible. The spring waters are the best. And despite what Penn and Teller tell you, there is a difference.
