i still miss maggie, and she was really old, and had earned her rest. i'm so sorry that putty is gone. sometimes there's one that is so special that they will never really leave. i think he's still greeting you at the door and defending you from laundry attack. it wouldn't surprise me a bit to hear that he's been purring at you at night.

mags still greets me in the kitchen....
