How are you my dear? I am feeling rather angry and annoyed as my brother has lost his driving license for being stupid enough to drink-drive. Apart from that things aren't too bad, just working away! :D
1. You just got a lovely new haircut! :) 2. I challenge you to go one afternoon (4 hours) without thinking about Stephen. 3. A color for you... peach.. the shade of your journal background. 4. You're so sweet and always leave such lovely comments on my posts! 5. It was a very charming comment that you left on one of my fic where you said that you weren't very good at commenting but you wanted to tell me that you liked the story. I thought that was sweet. 6. Awww, a teddy bear! Stephen LOVES teddy bears! 7. What do you like best about where you live?
1. Yes, I do. Although I admit my Paul passion has ebbed over the years, replaced by a finer love (*sigh* for Stephen and Hugh! ) 2. Ooooh, I would be honored to write you a birthday fic! You'll have to tell me the exactly when so I post it on the right day. Do you have anything particular you'd like in your story? 3. Yay! I love green! 4. Awwww, you're so sweet! I wish I had time to write more! And you always leave such wonderful comments. *hug* 5. Yay! And I'm so glad you did... thanks for all your lovely compliments. 6. Yes, I would LOVE for Stephen to come visit me... in the jungle, on the beach, in my room... anywhere! heh. 7. I dunno, really. I watch the TV shows a lot, so I can hear the language in my head, and I've also read a number of the books. I'm sure there are Plum Purists who would find my writing totally cringeworthy, but we here in the slash fandom have a different take on J&W! :)
Mmmmm... where you live sounds absolutely wonderful! I would love to visit someday... I shall have to work on that. :D
1. I'll go beyond your recent randomness: your grandfather was a great pie baker! (unless it was your dad, but I'm pretty sure g'father) 2. My challenge to you is to write a drabble in a fandom of your choosing with the prompt lilac. 3. The color I'll always picture for you is the blue in your icon coffee cup! 4. I like your openness and perspective on things! 5. I think I've mentioned this to you before. My first memory of you is a comment you left and we got into a discussion about our ages. :) *high five the Evil Aunties* 6. Again, I'm afraid I'm going to be repetitive and say a little white mousey! 7. What's the story behind your default icon?
1. I'll go beyond your recent randomness: your grandfather was a great pie baker! (unless it was your dad, but I'm pretty sure g'father)
Hey, you remember! :) And yes, absolutely correctly - it was my grandfather on my mother's side. (My father cooks things like maccaroni and cheese with bacon in, or... lettuce with peaches and cottage cheese. I mean, good, but not requiring much real thought or effort. Whereas pie, with really good handmade crust, is really hard.)
2. My challenge to you is to write a drabble in a fandom of your choosing with the prompt lilac.
Oo! I'm going to have to give that some thought, but I think I can do that. Why did you happen to choose lilac, btw?
3. The color I'll always picture for you is the blue in your icon coffee cup!
That's not a bad color. :)
4. I like your openness and perspective on things!
Heheheh. Thank you. That makes me happy. I think it puts some people off.;)

Why did you happen to choose lilac, btw? Lilac has always been one of my very favorite scents and flowers. Lately, it's been very much on my mind, prolly due to it being very near lilac season! :)
I think it puts some people off. Heh. I can relate.
I love the story of your iconage! :) And I love the tartan icon, too. I agree; tartan IS stylish! Hee! Is that particular tartan one from your own family line?
I'm feeling alright, and I'm slowly getting the muse back...I've been mainly hanging out and either reading or writing. Next week should be more interesting, RL-wise.
1. You live in NY state. 2. My challenge to you is to write a sweet fluffy Peter/John drabble. 3. I picture orange for you because of the icons I made for you! 4. I like your boldness in your writing! 5. I have to go along with our write-a-thon Sunday. It was great! 6. Zebra... I don't know too many Z works, and Zekkass just makes me think of zebra! 7. What got you interested in writing?
1. I do. 2. ...okaaay. You'll get it within a day or two. 7. Oo. I wrote because I had ideas, and I kept going because the 'imagination games' I always played needed to be written down. After that, I just kept going.
1. You just became an aunt! 2. My challenge to you is come up with a more adorable icon that the one you have... I don't think you can do it! :) 3. Ooooh, for you... turquoise and pink... the burn shades of choice for iconage! ;) 4. I adore your graphics... you do gorgeous work! 5. I remember your awesome tuts. They really inspired me with my icon making. 6. An adorable kitty cat. Not sure why, though! 7. How is your niece doing? :)
Hello to you! My weekend is going quite well, thanks, except that today;s weather feels more like late November than mid April!
1. You have a bag of popcorn on your journal banner. 2. My challenge is for you to make some (maybe 5?) new Friediekins/Eric icons... there just aren't enough of them in the world! :) 3. I think it has to be red in honor of the background of your journal banner! 4. You make such beautiful icons. I love the softness you get with the colors, and the shades themselves are really lovely. 5. I'm sounding repetitive, but I was struck at the wonderful effects you get with your icons. Someday I want to know how you do it! :D 6. A sweet little bird. 7. What's the story behind your user name?
Oooh, I will have to see if those techniques you mention are translatable to GIMP. I'm not totally familiar with all the possibilities of the program, so I'll have to look around.
*claps* Yay! I can't wait for the new Boffle icons! :) Thank you, m'dear!

That should be easy since you've got my six random things poll to work from. ;) (although I cheated and only did five).
