Firstly, it is now the 14th. It is now my amazing boyfriend monkey_don_dan's 27th birthday! Happy Birthday Monkey!
Secondly, here is the 2008 Review Meme, copied off everyone
1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Errrrrrrrrrrm. Stayed in a 5* hotel.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Did I even make any? *goes to look* I did! Lets see
1. Lose weight - I did! But I gained it all and probably some more besides :( Oops.
2.Stop biting my nails - I did! I've had epic nails on and off all year. They break easily, I always have my hands in water but basically I don't bite them anymore.
3.Figure out a plan - Oh I figured out several, none of them freaking well worked. At least I got myself a new job like I wanted. Its just a real shame it didn't turn out like I wanted.
4. Do something new - hmmm. Not really. Well I started cardmaking. I was making chocolate truffles the other day too! Oh and I guess I'm making a proper go of the driving lessons. That counts. It should do, it bloody costs me enough!
5. Return to old hobbies - not so much. I've done a bit of knitting, but not much.
6. Have more fun - hmmm. I've done a lot of fun things, gigs, trips, adventures, but I'm not sure in general I am having more fun.
Will I make some for next year? Yeah, sure. Why not?
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Erm...... I'll go with no. I dont think so anyway.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
A few folk I knew but nobody I was desperately close to. The dog we used to foster died and that was extremely heartbreaking. That was quite enough sadness for me.
5. What countries did you visit?
England. Wow.
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
A driving license. A real job that pays real money and treats me with real respect (a fresh, unworn, unrotten uniform would be a fantastic start!), a shorter distance between Monkey and I. A tidy bedroom! A trim figure!
7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Feb 8th- the one year anniversary of the Monkey-Bunny partnership :) April 2nd for all the wrong reasons (having to go with my Mum to the hospital for her scan). 22nd November- EDDIE FREAKING IZZARD OMG I CAN DIE HAPPY NOW. July 16th and November 5th-The almighty Leonard Cohen
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Not killing myself. Not throwing an enormous wobbler at work. Not handing my notice in (or walking out).
9. What was your biggest failure?
Failing to realise that if something sounds to good to be true, it probably is. Failing to be a success. Failing to be slim. Failing to be happy for most of it. Failing to stand up for myself and tell people to stop treating me like poo.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing more than a couple of colds and the yearly epic hayfever of impending d00m.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Errrr. My boyfriends Christmas present maybe. I dunno. I've not bought anything AMAZING this year.
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Monkeys, for putting up with me.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
The media's, for the way they handle important court cases in this country. We'll have cameras in there next. It saddens me. St Andrews University for failing to see my potential, this leaving me in this futureless pit of nothingness. Passing the buck is cool.

EDDIE EDDIE EDDIE. Babysitting the almighty Pip the Wonderdog.

a) happier or sadder
No different I think. Im still a big fat ball of depression and anxiety. What joy.
b) fatter or thinner
Dunno. I think I've probably wound up as fat as I was last year.

Driving lessons, then I could drive off into the sunset!

Eating.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
With my Mum and Monkey. Well, I'll be spending it in the kitchen, lol, but they'll be in the house with me :)

This year I got into Gossip Girl and Heroes. and Carnivale. I always get into things really late. I also watched every episode of Family Guy, Futurama (including the films) and Ugly Betty made to date. Ahhhh, part time employment, how you have destroyed the intelligent person I once was.
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Nah. Hatred requires energy.
25. What was the best book you read?
I finally finished The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat after owning since Feb 2002 :|, I read Poppy Shakespeare, it was ace. And, errr. I think that's all I've read all year, feck. I am on the last chapter of Joe Orton's Head To Toe, which is seriously the craziest book I have EVER read (and once upon a time I used to read a lot).
26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Bat for Lashes, even though her album came out in 2007, I got into her this year.
27. What did you want and get?
A new job. Be careful what you wish for!
28. What did you want and not get?
A new pet, a pair of Christian Louboutins, diamonds, a GREAT job.

Sex and the City. Madagascar 2 came close :p

Went to work for the morning, went to hospital with my Mum in the afternoon, had a chip shop tea and opened my fantastic presents at 8pm, the latest I've ever managed to hold off!
31.What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Job satisfaction, a salary to match my qualifications, experience and skills, a size 10 figure, a designer wardrobe (and budget!), some self confidence.
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
Mish mash. Ive gone back to the jeans and crocs look because of my job. So when I get the chace to dress up, I like to dress up!

Cigarettes. The occasional glass of rose.
34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?

Im loathe to say Obama but I don't have much choice.

Everyone :( I never see my friends enough :(

I've met some nice people at work, my two current coworkers are great people. A lot of my kids would deserve a mention if I could talk about them, because they've taught me a lot and helped me develop.

That all problems can be solved with shoes and kripsy kremes. And Wagamamas.
