Not a matter of "caught dead" - we have no fond memories of our sleepless nights in a Days Inn in Orlando. We'd rather cough up double the price if we can both sleep.
Yeah, sorry about that. As msmemory says, we're kind of risk-averse about hotels, so she was looking around for options. Staying with you was a plus, but we were trying to find something that looked a bit nicer that didn't cost $200+ a night. Hence, the not-answering was mostly a desperate case of indecision on our part...
I am glad someone found the new hotel because I still get really cranky having to pay for a hotel if I can't swim/hot tub. In the Midwest, it is significantly more common for even the cheap hotels to have this amenity.
