Just when I thought I might have to pay through the nose for a hotel for Crown, HG Marieke suggested a place that's under $100. Yay!

Thanks! We're suddenly thinking we might go, but where to stay was a concern.

Thanks for the link - I'm going to ask my party if they'd prefer to go there instead.

I invited your husband like five times to join us at the Motel 6 ($65/night), but I'm guessing you guys wouldn't be caught dead in one. (Not that he ever gave me an answer... :p)

Not a matter of "caught dead" - we have no fond memories of our sleepless nights in a Days Inn in Orlando. We'd rather cough up double the price if we can both sleep.

Yeah, sorry about that. As msmemory says, we're kind of risk-averse about hotels, so she was looking around for options. Staying with you was a plus, but we were trying to find something that looked a bit nicer that didn't cost $200+ a night. Hence, the not-answering was mostly a desperate case of indecision on our part...

Yes, hence my later LJ post.

I am glad someone found the new hotel because I still get really cranky having to pay for a hotel if I can't swim/hot tub. In the Midwest, it is significantly more common for even the cheap hotels to have this amenity.
