Sharing Space

I have a seat preference on planes...aisle. Especially when the alternative is the middle seat. I have long legs by most standards and ever since I flew while pregnant, I have discovered the benefits of being able to stretch my legs out somewhat better in an aisle seat

At least she thanked you. Did you tell her you knew she was lying? I have very little patience for being lied to.

I'd probably switch if someone asked, especially if the kids were young. But in circumstances like that one, if she thanked me at the end of the flight I'd tell her that I saw just how much she needed the better seat and that after this I would know better than to switch with anyone else in the future. I wonder what someone like her would say to something like that: the chump wising up.

CJ, I seriously wish I'd had the balls to say that to her. I was all conflict avoidance with several of my coworkers there and all. She sat in my seat and proclaimed it hers. So obnoxious. And it was a learning lesson for me, in more applications than extreme air travel annoyances. ;)
