you are really such a rock... i'm in awe of you, every time i read one of your posts. not that you haven't heard this a million times and sometimes circumstances are out of our control... but be sure to take care of yourself, too.
Thanks Deb! I'm doing fairly well today, just a bit tired (and of course that nagging headache), but other than that, I'm holding on. My Mom is still in the hospital and I don't know when she's coming home. They are still trying to force out the excess fluids. She's in a lot of pain, but it's still better than the alternative.
I'm hoping to be able to take a nice hot bath later with some candles and some music.
Oh BJ! I'm so sorry to hear that! At first when I was reading I thought she had an asthma attack...and then as I read on, my heart started beating faster. I'm sorry! Being that I'm one of those walking medical miracles (or so I'm called by my friends and Dr.'s,) you can always pop me off an Email (dolphingodddesss@yahoo.com) and I can call you if you ever need to talk! Seriously! I totally understand all of this stuff..and the stress that comes with it!

No, they are more worried about the congestive heart failure. I think they are also thinking about the possibility of a heart attack. The doctor wants to try have her do a stress test...lol. The very idea of her trying to do a stress test is a joke. Just have her try to sit up and you'll find out how badly she is doing. I'm hoping to talk to the doctor today and find out what he's thinks is going on with her. I'm just stuck at home until the hubby gets home, since the hospital has a policy that doesn't allow visitors under the age of 14. They are also very strict about the visiting hours at this hospital. Wankers, the lot of them. They just better take good care of my Mother.

Thank you Lisa! I'm staying strong and as calm as I can be. I don't think I'll get the chance to fall apart. By that time, I'll just be dealing with something else and won't be worried about it hopefully. Yeah, I think I'll be worried about the Vet's bill that hasn't been sent yet. I am in fear of how much that is going to cost me, but I still have Devon and he's doing better right now, so it's all worth it to me.
Say hi to D for me. Maybe I can call you sometime, though I think you're back to being 3 hours ahead of me right now.
LOL...I just talked to my Mom again on the phone and she was fairly stoned on pain killers. Good, I hope she can get some rest. A family friend has already visited her today too, so I'm happy about that.
We really need to talk sometime so we can catch up and I can find out more about D and how you are doing...you meaning just you (also).

I have a new cell number. Still wtih verizon, but I got a new phone. I will email it to you.
We have fallen back an hour. so I think we maybe only 2 hours ahead??? I am really not sure.
