Somewhere along the way, I lost it....................
The last couple years have been rocky at best. We've had a lot of health issues that have led to a decent amount of financial difficulty. We've been getting by, but mostly by the skin of our teeth. Young love is Frickin cute....
Wesley has a girlfriend at preschool. They hold hands and play together. He insisted on inviting her to his birthday party. Last thursday at school, he says she drew a heart in the sand for him, and told him he had to bring her roses. So on Friday, he went out back in search of a rose to bring. The kindness of friends....
Roxana has to be out of her house by midnight tonight. As of Friday, they had no where to go, and no place to run the day care. But do to the kindness of one of the parents, Roxana and her family have a place to stay, and run the daycare all in one. And, joy of all joys for Roxana, she can keep her puppies with her. Help for Roxana
My children's daycare found out today that they have 1 week to find a new house and move. They were hoping to have until till the end of the month, but it looks like they have to move now. If anyone knows of a 4 bedroom house in Simi, renting for around $2000 a month, that would be willing to take 11 small dogs, and a security deposit paid in ( Read more... ) -

Does anyone else remember the days when halloween treats were fun and safe? When your neighbors made popcorn balls, and cookies, and caramel apples, and you were allowed to eat them without fear. I have my doctor's appointment with the Rhuematologist on November 5th. I've filled out all my paperwork, and I've written down all my symptoms in a clear and logical manner. Bad news and Decisions
It looks like Matt isn't going to get the morning shift after all. Which means we still need daycare for the boys. But we have decided to forgo the idea of another roommate or a live-in day care. It's going to take a lot of budget tightening, but work has picked up for Matt, and I'm going to be working Fridays as of next week. My income alone ( Read more... )
