If I ever look back on today, I hope I remember I was luckily (considering the economic conditions) toiling away at work, hoping between online and analog news streams of Obama's inauguration ceremony. His whole battle for the White House was marked by the words "hope" and "change." Here is what I'm hopeful for

But then i wouldn't have been nearly as amused :D I'm especially entertained by the idea of outlawing better immigration policy.

I agree with all you points.

I would add gay rights to the list but that is very unlikely since Obama doesn't support marriage for gay couples.
