"You thought the teenage romance drama was over!" cackles Hussie. "You fools!"
To be honest, I'm not sure how I feel about this development. Terezi's relationship with Gamzee seems to be marginalizing her more and more. She used to be pretty on the ball, now it seems like her character has changed into some kind of incompetent romantic teenager. Ehh.
Hey, a girl can't be on top of things all the time. Her downward spiral seems to be primarily caused by guilt from killing Vriska -- gamzee's primarily just taking advantage of her newfound lack of confidence and making it worse.
Chances are this is playing into her arc. I was suspecting that we were going to see her become less confident in herself since Act 5, when she got upset over having led a Dave to his death.
So it's pretty clearly supposed to be a bad kismesissitude, but... how is it different from a good one? Is it because Terezi's getting self-destructive instead of Gamzee-destructive? Is this really how it's supposed to be, and Terezi doesn't recognise it because she's never been in hate before? Does Gamzee just inherently ruin everything he touches forever?
At least there's a good chance now she'll break up with him.
