It's Andrew Hussie. I'm sure he knows quite well. In fact, I'm not sure there is such a thing as a "throwaway line" when it comes Homestuck.

Well, in the same reread as I saw Vriska saying Terezi would see again, I was also reminded that most of the troll worldbuilding is held together with string and gum. You have stuff like Terezi being confused about why Sollux types in yellow.

I think this is something more like dear sweet Fefeta, though.
