So. Very busy weekend. Wasn't all I'd hoped it would be. Thursday was our Beachland show. Again, no money. I mean, I don't really care about the money but if we ask all our friends to come and they all shell out the cash and we never see any of it, I'd just as soon play for free. The show itself was sub-par and we've decided not to play any

God! Isn't that WEIRD? All the queer girls I know use them TOO! Fuckin' weird. Well, I searched 3 different stores today and nobody had them in the normal vagina size (not supers) so I opted for the Tampax "beyonds". And they're terrible. First off, I hate cardboard. Second, I think they are about 3 inches longer than normal tampons (maybe that's why they called them beyond...they extend well beyond where they should) and third they are lilac in color. A purple applicator. Odd.

Period talk rocks my world. I mean, why is it that guys are all about fart & shit talk, but you even SAY "period" and most of them get freaked out...even some gurls! I have never used Tampax pearls, myself, but that's b/c I've switched to Instead softcups, which Walgreens carries, and I wouldn't go back. I usually have really nasty times or nice & lite times, and the softcups rule for the nasty times. I use many fewer of them than tampons & I feel better w/them, too, especially since my chances of getting cervial cancer are very very high, in the future, (I am actually counting on it) I'm doing all I can to keep my coochie happy & healthy!
