My cat Harvey is completely enamored with me. Pepper told me once that he looks at me as if it's the first time he's laid eyes on me. Days like today I need that. Harvey Boyfriend. When he follows me from room to room Jamie calls out "Here comes your boyfriend

I don't understand cats. Mine is very similar. Follows me around like a lost puppy. Doesn't watch TV, but is amused by watching the washing machine run. Doesn't mind being around other dogs and is quite fond of small ones approximately her size. My neighbors next door have a male Boston Terrier and are convinced that my female feline is trying to have an affair with him. When Tawny sees the dog, Victor, playing in the back yard, she charges the fence if I let her slip past me at the back door so she can sniff noses with the dog. Will sit down and eat grass at the fence line and doesn't retreat if the dog paws her through the fence. I find this to be a bit weird.

Oddly, I cannot put Tawny unsupervised in a room with another cat. She will attack it immediately if not restrained. I was once considering getting a companion cat to keep her company when I am away. Will have to re-think my options.
