Yesterday I pulled into a gas station and heard a considerable amount of yelling.  One young man was standing by the garage doors at the station screaming at an older man who was at a pump, pumping gas into his car.  The woman accompanying the older man at the pump was standing as a barrier between the two men, even though there was at least 20 ( Read more... )

Witnessing events like this is indeed sickening. At an airport in Seattle one time, I remember watching a person reach across the counter and start strangling the ticket attendant.

In your story, what annoys me is that we don't know what they were fighting about! Isn't that a strange thing about human nature: the need to know? I mean, I am grateful that no one was hurt (especially you), but there is this need inside me to have the rest of the story.
