On Wednesday night Cousin J and I (and my sister and her friend) went to see Kelly Clarkson. It was raining and the concert was outdoor. Luckily it stayed (almost) dry the short hour she took to the stage. i know what you mean about the age thing--my brother's friends think i'm "cool" for letting them have a party last night. it's like now i'm the "older" person who's surprisingly "cool" because, you know, us fogies--we don't like to party or anything. but if we're "cool" or "down," we let it happen anyway because we can reach back into the farthest recesses of our mind to recall a time WE TOO liked to have fun. or something like that.

truthfully, the whole "you're only as old as you feel" rings more and more true as I watch my own chronological years escalate. Here I am, 32, and although I consider myself an "old soul" in many ways - my taste in music, etc...reflects a woman a bit younger.
keeping the energy is important. good for you.
