When did I sign up for this?
There's so much to say...but the one thing that really struck me today happened at about 3:30pm. I stood in the bathroom at my job (there is a woman's room and a men's, though they are both just single bathrooms like you would have in your home...and because until recently there were no men working at my job, they are pretty much omnisexual)...

when i worked at linens 'n things during graduate school, i remember standing in the doorway with another woman and watching the man who finally agreed to go into the women's room, climb into a locked stall, and plunge a clogged toilet. we also listened to him as he freaked out and nearly vomited, narrating what he saw coming up as he plunged and grossing us out too--and then the power in the entire store went out!
