That does sound like a really good reading! I'm glad you got so much guidance from it, and I hope it helps inform your decisions. I've been meaning to find a good spiritual advisor around here. That sounds like an interesting documentary, and I totally agree with you. I think pharmaceuticals can and do help a lot of people, but there are a lot of other options that could be tried first sometimes. Popping a pill won't fix all of your problems usually, it's a good idea to try to change your habits and choices that are not helping you, like not getting enough exercise or fresh air or whatever else you could be doing. I also understand where the other people are coming from, and there is obviously a stigma against mental health issues, which is also why people are being over-prescribed medicine which is the problem. The issue is with the health industry I just know that eating better food and getting a lot of fresh air while walking everywhere has done a lot for my mental health.
I believe in them too but honestly, there are times when I have my doubts. Something awful happens and I just want to scream "why did you leave me!?" When in reality, I know they are there. It's about belief.
