The HSK - Hanyu Shui Ping Kao Shi - strikes fear into most Koreans' hearts (well, at least the koreans here who are studying mandarin!) coz its the the Chinese equivalent of the TOEFL, and for them its a serious matter. Important for work/studying purposes
