So sorry Tulsa friends - the visit was a very short one, and due to an unexpected lack of internet connection at my mother's, I wasn't able to check the comments on my last entry to see who was free. Anyhow, we ended up spending the vast majority of the time with family, because my grandmother wanted to see me and my stepfather is leaving later

Seriously though... I can't count the number of times I've thought of calling you, and then got distracted doing something else. I do think of you often, I promise... but you know my brain, I can barely hold a thought long enough to express it, let alone act on it. =)

I'm sure he's nothing like this but I keep thinking of Morgan Freeman's character in The Shawshank Redemption when I hear his name. Although, what do I know, he might be just like that.

Ha! Ya know, I hadn't thought of that one... I did think of That 70s Show (as cloudeagle pointed out)...

Let me see... it's funny... he's kindof a mix of the two. They call him Red because he's Irish, yes, and he's very wise and thoughtful, but he does say dumbass a lot, too. =-p
