Just read the Oscar nominations, Peter O'Toole and Ryan Gosling are nominated....YAAAAAAAYYY!!! I doubt Ryan will win since it's the almighty popularity contest, but let's hope to god Peter gets his long overdue Oscar

I think O'Toole will get it because he is long overdue. From what I have heard Whitaker is the best for his role in Last King of Scotland.

I've seen a few clips of "Last King of Scotland", and I agree, Forest did an amazing job portraying Idi Amin. Deep down, I want Peter to win though. He deserves it...badly, along with Scorsese.

Forgot about him! Hopefully Eastwood won't beat him out. But I think the Academy will finally open up it's eyes this year.
