Final drabble (for now!) - Luna and Tonks

At long last! Okay, my personal opinion is that this is pants ... but, it's been driving me nuts and I honestly don't have the time to work on it anymore! But it was fun while it lasted, and I think there's lots more potential in the Tonks and Luna world. This is for gilpin25, who requested Tonks, Luna and the promp "earrings." It comes in at 933 words.

I don't think it's anywhere near pants, in fact a million miles away from it! There's such a nice mix of humour and sadness in this, yet it ends on such an upbeat note with a flash of real defiance and spirit from Tonks. I like your Luna a lot; you've captured so well her ability to be totally unpredictable, and say off-the-wall stuff, but there's still real intuition and caring behind it. It's a nice nod to the books, too, where Tonks does appear to get on well with the younger girls, that they would be concerned about her and admire her. And that their opinion would matter in turn to her.
