I think Cymbalta was the last anti depressant that my doctor wanted me to try. I refused it, partly because I hate anti depressants and partly because I had read about the side effects. Anti depressants always do horrid things to me so I don't take them.

I'm doing fairly well on it. I feel a little bit flattened out, but for now I'll take that over the scary lows that hit me now and then. I've got other friends who suffer clinical depression but, like you, don't respond well to meds. I feel pretty fortunate that my system responds well to low dosages.
