So happy you liked the tattoo fic !
At first, Charles was such a douche that I was shocked and I wasn't sure to go on with it, but when it appeared that, yeah, he was meant to be a douche and that the fic, for once, dealed with how Charles patronizes his sister and how wrong of him it is to do so, I found this very interesting. And he's very fucked up, and you can't help to feel for him despite his arseholery :)
I really loved Raven in this fic. Her emancipation is one of the theme of the movies I like the most (please let her stay awesome and independant in Apocalypse !!!), but few fics deal with it. It was so raw and intense here, you really felt for her and her inner struggles, and her sorrow that the person she loves the most, ie her brother, was the one who refused to accept her as she was.
And Erik, omg Erik ! Loved the way he handles Charles, and his trolling tendencies. This scene, when he sends Charles tattoo propositions, was absolutely awe-some :D

And I agree with you on one last point : I want at tattooooo now !

Yes! Charles is SUCH a douche! The way he treats Raven (and Erik for that matter) is absolutely wrong! He is even worse than my mother lol. He is so intolerant and prejudiced. But I like the way it comes from the deep need to protect Raven and from the defense mechanisms he had to develop in order to survive and help Raven survive.

I usually don't like Raven as a character (in general), so it was a nice change to like her! She is a very strong woman in this one and I loved this about her and I loved how considerate she was and how she could deal with such a hard-to-deal-with men - both Charles and Erik.

And Erik - I agree with you - OMG ERIK! The way he is TAMED here, self-controlled but still feral and a survivor too is great. He is also self-confident and super sexy in this one (holy unf). I loved the scene when he manhandles Charles to the backroom despite Charles being quite strong himself!

ps. I am serious about the tattoo - I've been wanting it for years... It's just hard to find smth one really wants to have forever.
