I know I haven't been the most active moderator of this community.  I also dig the fact that the layout is a tad bit lame.  So anyone with some gumption, free time, urge to moderate, greater knowledge or simple suggestions, I submit to the community as a whole, does it need fixin' or do we leave it alone.

If you're referring to the whole green thing, I only see that when I click into it to make a post. Other than that I see it on my friends list page, so it doesn't make a difference to me! Having a dorky page is kind of fun anyway. I say leave it alone! (But don't really care that much if we do change it)

Out of sheer laziness, I say leave it alone. But that's because I'm lazy.

I normally only look at the page from my F-list. So, don't make more work for yourself. :) (If you want to revamp it, that's different.)

I agree with the others. I also mostly view postings from my Inbox or Friends page, so I don't notice the layout. Plus, being kinda low-tech and thrown together from Goodwill rejects is part of what MST3K is all about, doncha think?
So, yeah, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. And if it is broke, use duct tape. Or maybe a little hot glue.
But if someone else is inspired and creative, then, hey, give the kid a chance! And if we don't like it, we can riff on it. That's also part of what MST's about.
