"Angsty, crying Malfoy is just lamely pathetic to the point of utter adorableness. I swear, I wanted to jump into the book and hug him, it was so cute."

I can be lamely pathetic to the point of utter adorableness without all of the hassle of being either angsty or crying. Will you hug me?

*hug* Though I'd expect you to not be lamely pathetic, I hope. You're cooler than that.

Thanks for the hug, and yes, I am fully aware that I am cooler than that, but thanks for saying it, anyway. Sometimes, the obvious so obviously needs pointing out, and yes, I am NOT lamely pathetic, or at least that's what the latest, global, TQ poll shows. My original comment was to see if you were paying attention to the Enigma That Is Thaddeus Quay.

*Not paying attention to the Enigma That Is Thaddeus Quay*. Heheh, I like how that's all capitalized.
And for some reason, I sat here wondering, "What's TQ stand for?" which shows I should get some sleep now...

I think HP's problem is Rowling wants to make the series dark without any actual darkness. This is why all the villains are two-dimensional and idiotic. Except Snape, maybe.

Yeah, true.
Voldemort is so boring a villain it irks me.

What the fuck is with everyone thinking that the entire population of Hogwarts is gay!?

Although I have to admit that I originally read your post as:
Angsty, crying Malfoy is just lamely pathetic to the point of utter adorableness. I swear, I wanted to jump into the book and hug him, it was so cute.

Anyhow, I don't have the book yet - I found a copy online and was browsing through it, and...maybe it's because what's going on in my life right now is so more serious, but I frankly kind of thought it sucked - I'm not sure if I'm going to buy it or not.

Uh oh, bad stuff happening? You okay?
And I'll lend it to you later if you want.
And the whole population isn't, just... Harry and Malfoy. And maybe it's just because Rowling can't write a decent love story to save her life. Or Harry's love life.

And, I assure you I don't plan on jumpinh Malfoy in the near future. Unless I plan to mug him and steal his wallet.

no, I will be the one jumping draco.

Unless, harry decides to stop ignoring the sparkly and flamboyant rainbow stiped snake and wants to fuck Draco first...

one problem w/ Malfoy/Potter now, though. Malfoy almost (dumbass) killed Potter's father figure. Harry doesn't forgive stuff like that. At least there's still Ron . . . xp

btw, how come V is the main villain and Malfoy is the anti-hero, but Snape has the most interesting character out of everyone in the friggin' book, 'cept maybe Black? I'm confluzled. I like the new Malfoy though. Angsty, Threatened, Bullied, Overprotected (STILL!!??), and still has time to lay on Pansy's lap. How cute. (throws up.)

problem with malfoy vs. ron.....malfoy is infinitly times more hotter....ron and harry is kinda.....blegh....

although an interesting plot twist with harry dumping one weasley for another....

Haha, that'd be funny. Dumping Ginny for Ron.
And yeah, I agree, Ron doesn't work. It has to be a Malfoy. Plus, they hate each other, but have a passionate love they cannot deny and bla bla bla. I think Pam is temporarily possessing me. Usually this stuff weirds me out...

ron and harry will never happen. They're both too lame.

Harry and Draco.

And since I'm the slash qu33n, it's final.

Dumbly dying at Snapes hands was pretty awesome. Snape just got cool. He doesn't make a good hero, but he makes an awesome backstabber... Though I hate the fact that Harry was right, and ohpoorHarry no one beleived him, but Harry is always right....
Draco was awessssssssssssssome! But he didn't make up completely for the lack of SIRIUS!!!!
"I ONLY LOVE HER BROTHERLY" - Oh yeah, sure, Harry. The same way Oedipus loved his mother only "motherly"....
He'll get over her, there's still the final book... a lot can happen...

i guess you have all abandoned this post already, I have been without internet, source of all life, for a while, so sorry I'm late.

To the subject. Why, oh why, do Hogwarts keep a house they KNOW educate wizards who tun evil? Why?! If that isn't stupidity, I don't know what is.

Because that's the plot... where else would you get bad guys? But there's a lot of silly plotholes....
Actually, I wondered that a lot too when I read the book. But, hey, political correctness exists in the wizarding world too.
