Remember the other day when I posted asking for advice on what to do with the praying mantis? I get home that evening and he was up and looking so much better, he was tracking the insects around him and looked really interested in them. One of his legs kept getting hooked on his arm with the remaining molt junk on it so I gently took the manicure

For the record, i do think bug owners are a little crazy :) But of all the bugs to have, a Praying Mantis is pretty freakin cool.

I used to watch them in the fields near my HS. Just lay down in the tall grass and hold perfectly still for a while and they come out of the woodwork (they were really there all along, you just don't notice them until you slow the heck down and be all Thoreau). I once saw 3 within a 3'x3' patch.
