Guess who's back....back again....

No, it's not slim shady or the backstreet boys or whatever. It's me! Ms. T. I haven't written in forever. Now you might be thinking that's because I didn't have anything to write about. Well, you couldn't be more wrong. The problem was just the opposite. I had TOO MUCH to write about. I could never decide what to write. My brain was ( Read more... )

anecdotes, addictions, and other abnormal assumptions... voxiferous3 January 10 2006, 23:01:04 UTC
May I first state that I am glad that you're back. I, too, have also been missing from the livejournal space. The main reason for that is that MySpace has usurped my online throne that was once accompanied by livejournal. I maintain my livejournal because it had features that myspace doesn't. When I first encountered Myspace I reluctantly joined it, but as time went by I gradually became more and more addicted. SO...consider this a warning...or caution. It's like...I sign on, check my email, myspace, livejournal, and facebook. I miss the good ol' days when my life wasn't dominated by silicon and wires.

Hmmm, that's definitely something to consider..especially given the fact that Mr. G already frowns upon the time I clock online. I must say that even though I have been absent in writing on LJ, I have certainly still been reading and I definitely noticed your absence, as well as many others. I figured you all had jumped ship in favor of the more "visual" Myspace. Perhaps we can have a revival over here on LJ. For reasons why, see my earlier post regarding MySpace v. LJ.

I say no on the myspace. I have one; however, I don't use the blogs (they're irksome), so really, the only thing I use it for is a space for my friends to contact me (there are more folks on my myspace than my LJ).

Well, that doesn't sound appealing at all. I guess I'll just have to campaign to get folks to start writing on LJ again. Let me go find my posters, buttons and straw hats.
