My new Corsets
Here is the most recent corset project I have been working on. The purple fabric under the corset is the fabric I will use for my top and skirt. I just had it draped across me to give the general idea of the look I am going to achieve.

the heart cath is done
NO blockages found....so it is up to us...diet, exercise and medications will stop him from having these problems again.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers......maybe life will get back to "normal" soon. -
Thursday's the day
Jeff is suppose to have a heart catherization Thursday morning (that is today I think) between 7am - 12 noon Raleigh, NC time

sometimes life sucks
Monday I took Jeff in for a repeat xray....then over to the eye doc to get a form completed and signed to get his advanced sick leave.....the doc wrote on the paper that Jeff's condition is permanant and that he will never return to work.....this was the first we heard that he would remain legally blind.....I think this stressed him too much as I ( Read more... ) -
Thanksgiving
Yesterday I received a call from my Mom....she is in Mississippi and I have not seen her in over a year (when I went there to see her when she had her quadruple bypass surgery) She told me that it looks like she will be in the Raleigh area the day before Thanksgiving and asked what I was doing........well we are gonna do what we do every ( Read more... ) -
the day after steroid
Well yesterday Jeff had the steroid injection in the left eye......the doc said all looked good.....hopefully on the 18th he will have the right eye done also, then 2 weeks of waiting to see if any vision returns. I will pray hard during this time, in hopes of him getting enough vision back so he can resume a "normal" life ( Read more... ) -
something I did for ME
This weekend we kept pretty "normal" under the circumstances....we did the things we use to do and enjoy. Sunday I went to visit my favorite tattoo guy in Raleigh, NC (Braden @ Rock*N*Roll Outlet on Capital Blvd) to see about a possible touch up of my tiger tattoo....well by the time I left my tiger had not been touched...BUT...I have the most ( Read more... ) -
still going.......
Today I take my honey in for a steroid injection to his left eye.....then sometime later (days or weeks) he will get one in his right eye. The doc says he will know something after this. I am hopeful that they can restore at least SOME of his vision......but I also have to face reality that this may never happen ( Read more... )
