Sewing supplies

I need sewing machine needles for the 1+. At the moment the sizes are escaping me. Hey, if you were getting your viking's serviced, where would you take them?

Sew Unique since it's close and Mike from Cotton Boll now works there part time. He also still works out of a shop down from where Cotton Boll was.

I believe the correct link is http://www.greenberg-hammer.com/.

mstra-margarita, correct me if I'm wrong. It's a seamstress supply shop in NYC, so I'm guessing it's that one.

Ditto here. Probably lots of them, as I lose needles All The Time.

ditto, both regular handsewing and crewel/embroidery. and anything else you might recommend for the secret project.

Hrm... organ needles (any) fusible web, twill tape (any), and those metal rings, can't remember what they are called. Probably none of these will go on your list but I figure I should speak up!

The one thing I can consistently *never* find outside of NYC is hair canvas. Everything else I can at least locate (even though I usually have to pay too much, vis-a-vis stuff like twill tape), but hair canvas is a closed book to The Land of No Real Fabric.

Thank the gods I will get a chance to worship at Steinlauf and Stoller in April....I'm planning to make their comptroller very happy.
