i wanted to make something fabulous for y'all to celebrate the apprenticing but i didn't have time - i was making marzipan for a&s instead. but doing that prior to june should be much more doable. ;)
I just realized that I owe you a huge apology! I don't know if you've seen my posts, but my wonderful daughter that has never really given me any trouble lost her mind over the last month. We had some really tough, out-of-left-field issues that came out and almost killed us both. NOT AT ALL in character for her, but can be explained by adolescence, anniversary dates (her previous adoptive family gave her back after 2 years and she's been with me almost 2 years), etc. We are doing much better now and I'm thankful. However, I know that we had promised to do some babysitting for you and have not honored that. She's back in therapy, and while I don't have any concerns about her babysitting, I think there's enough on her plate for now. Please accept my humblest apologies!
Hope you all feel better soon. Fox went through a phase when he picked up everything (ah, toddlerhood), then one day just snapped out of it and was hardly ever sick. Fingers crossed it happens for your little girl soon!
Thank you! We finally got the doc to put her on antibiotics. She hasn't had a spontaneous recovery from a sinus infection yet, so I don't know why we have to keep waiting to get meds. Frustration!
We've had a lot of bronchitis issues over the years - one thing that made it go away much faster for both of us was a humidifier. I stayed home from work a full week sitting on the couch working from home with the humidifier just a couple of feet from me (plain water, no menthol stuff). I downed gallons of hot and cold tea, juice, water, etc. That humidifier was on 24/7 next to me. When I went back to work the following week, I took B's personal humidifier with me and had it blowing on me at my desk all day. Made a world of difference for both of us when we were sick. Maybe it will help clear it up a little faster for him and ease the coughing. ick. Feel better!
