Update on Mom

They have taken out the intubation tube and done a tracheotomy and feeding tube in her abdomen.  She is looking better, but still not fully alert.  She can partially open her right eye, move her right foot and slightly wiggle her left foot.  Still no movement in the left arm.  I didn't realize that she had 12 staples in the back of her head.  I

I am so sorry to hear about this, Matt. Your Mom is such a vibrant woman - I'm glad I got to meet her when I was living down there. I've got you both in my thoughts and prayers.
