So it's actually Monday, but whatever. I rarely check LJ anymore. I did, however, find these questions completely appropriate.

Have you ever left the country you live in and where?
I went to Canada once in college for the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. On Saturday morning, though, I leave for Peru!

What's doing in Peru? Work or pleasure?

Work. I'm going as part of a group that helps monitor the guano harvest in Punta San Juan.

What a great assignment, but do wear a mask....and report lots of details. I've been to Peru but not the islands. It's a wonderful country. Lovely people and food, but watch out where you wander. There are places which are treacherous. Drink a Pisco sour for me one night!

We're literally in Lima one day and then at the field house. There really isn't much time for wandering.

I bet I haven't had it in a year. I found a tasty place in Cleveland once I was back from D.C. I feel as though I need to go again.
