My supervisor told me about it. I think she just wanted to see my reaction, because she knew I'd give her a good shocked-and-outraged reaction, which was, I'm guessing, her reaction as well.
What I wouldn't give to have a copy of the letter...

OK kiddies, I have a copy of the letter in my hands at this very moment. I'm going to see what I can do about getting it electronically so that I don't have to transcribe the whole thing. It's priceless.
I will reluctantly admit that he had some good points about how management is lacking here, but they weren't made well, and he destroys any case he might have by not proofreading the damn thing (or just missing the errors entirely) before he sent it out. Oh yeah, and he sent it out via EMAIL. Not even a real letter. Moron.
