I love the Lord of the Rings books and movies. I've always thought that living in a place like Bag End (Bilbo's and then Frodo's house for you non-geeks) would be the coolest thing in the world - so warm and cozy and round. This is the next best thing.

I'm amazed by the craftsmanship and the level of detail.

That's amazing. I'm reminded of the lego church that was posted to MeFi a few years back. Same concenration to detail and clear dedication to a project that most people wouldn't get at all, just different applications. I've never been able to get that into something and I wonder, sometimes, if I'm missing out.

What an adorably quaint little place! It took me a few seconds to figure out that the rounded areas were doorways and not mirrors.
