Useless

Earlier this week, W requested a "meeting" with me. No, he wasn't wearing camouflage pants at the time. So, basically this "meeting" was an opportunity for him to accuse me of petty stuff and talk down to me because I've questioned his actions in the past. He's apparently the grudgemeister. I tried to take things as calmly as possible, and ( Read more... )

It sounds like he needs to be too scared to talk to you. You can start keeping a file on him, which he knows about, or even suggest that you might go postal on his very young arse.

Personally, I'd look for a new job, with a company that actually appreciates and looks after its personell.

Well, he doesn't normally talk to me. But he does have these occasional "discussions" with people who he doesn't get along with. Our direct boss included. Why a superior would take this kind of crap from him, I'll never understand.

Maybe I should start keeping a log of his indiscretions, and make it known that I'm keeping the log. That might be the only way to curb his behavior.

I'm also planning to bring in my cheesy voodoo doll and display it prominently. That'll be just for my own amusement.

Just because I need to rant a little more about this dolt...

The ensemble today is quite fetching. Ill-fitting, highwater grey pinstripe dress pants (perhaps they're wool?), that Japanese symbol Hawaiian shirt I mentioned in a previous post (off white base with greyish-greenish abstract pattern with black symbols), white/gray/maroon camouflage bandana on his head (tied so that it's covering his entire head).

A coworker went up to him and called him "Captain... Whatever" and he was just pleased as punch with the attention, not realizing he was being mocked. Can someone really be this stupid and survive?

Heh. I recommend more rants like this, both for your sanity and our entertainment. Friends-locked, of course, although I get the feeling he's not the smartest web surfer out there.

But Skrik's right: it sucks most of all that you're getting no support from your higher-ups. It's beginning to smell like nepotism.

Ugh, that totally sucks, sorry to hear it. I don't have any useful advice, just want to send some positive vibes your way. Best of luck.
