Hey guys, I just wanted to make a quick post in regards to the hotel for AFO. I highly recommend anyone that had a bad stay to contact the hotels corporate office and let them know. Smoot, you should do this for sure. Here is the link:

holy crap other than the door I had no idea you had all those other problems as well. that's very odd considering this is my 3rd time staying at that hotel and I never had problems like that before but it is very expensive considering what we get. That manager is a nimrod and someones head would have rolled if they left my door open and something was missing. Hope you still enjoyed the con itself though and it was amazing as always hanging with you, Chris, and the crew at the con ^^

Oh the con itself was amazing and I had a fantastic time, but for $150 for the whole weekend I could have stayed across the street.

The confirmation number for the reservation was 68827887. I saw that there was a box for that. Be sure to use it if you haven't already left your feedback.

God damn I didn't you were having so many problems with your room. The only thing I could complain about my room was the door was hard to close. My or Adrian couldn't close the door so we call the baby next door to close it for us. XD

You know, we had a few problems also. Our room was a non-smoking room but had a cigarette smell. I'm highly allergic to cigarette smoke so my sinus' were aggravated all weekend. Our bed skirts were stained, and our door was hard to open. Our sliding glass door took TWO people to open!

I've stayed at this hotel every year since the first year it was there and this was the first time I've had a problem. :[

I think a majority of people staying at the hotel had issues with there room door, I just don't get it. The site for the hotel said the renovated recently but it doesn't show, I was also told that one building had mushrooms growing out of the carpet! Please if you had a bad stay complain, for the price you paid a little compensation is deserved.

Adrian and I both messaged them and got the same exact email word for word from them. Smoot managed to get a free nights stay so that is essentially what I wanted to happen.
