Is the only thing that matters Cake? Marie apparently didn't really think so, she was just a early victim of the media.  Anyhow the cake was good and I ate to much of it. Am I getting old? Or is perfectly normal to not be able to walk after 4 hours of standing in high heels. Well they weren't runners ok? They hurt but it is a less acute hurt

Holy Moly it's a post from Mareets! I'd given up checking your LJ thinking you'd abandoned it long ago for the dreaded Facebook Monster who seems to consume all in its path.

I haven't seen you for a couple of years now so I hope you're doing well. I believe you bought a new place which is really great news and well done to you - I'm looking about for my house warming invite ... nope not here :)

I assume you know the latest with SWI, well the much loved "cough" committee who treated you so well "another cough" towards the end of your tenure have now left the club and it's under new management. In fact the first SWI event for this year is a relaunch on May 4th at Whitley College which is pretty appropriate timing.

I know you left the club on rather unhappy terms but the world has now changed and is definitely worthy of having another peek.

Anyway hopefully we'll chat again soon.
