Music is an under appreciated study. If I had a dollar for every time someone mentioned how easy it was I could drop out of it now and live life comfortably. I totally feel your pain. Fine arts majors are so under-appreciated. I get told all the time how all I do is make pretty pictures and play with clay, when I need to fit 2 hr studio classes in the mainstream class schedule even though they are abnormally timed, as well was walking across campus everyday to do my 'homework' while other kids sit at their desks in their dorm rooms. I got yelled at today by an old lady I needed a signature from to add a tutorial class for art because nothing fit in with the mainstream block of classes. It's real shit.
