When we are rude to somebody,we can laugh it off later as having had a bad day, maybe you're frustrated. however, since when was it ok in ANY circumstance to have bad manners?
You're absolutely right, it'd be only a reason, and not an excuse.
ive had that too, where you realise you are the bad apple of the friendship only when you spot a bad apple of another friendship. but its not so bad, now i make a conscious effort not to take the good friends for granted which becomes so easy to do after years of knowing each other
The idea about the value and condition of promises becoming fluid was the bit that stuck out for me. How sad is it that it has come to that? We learn to make them more flexible because why? We come to accept that people don't keep their promises? I think that's so sad. Value your promises!
