I love them! They were game-generated with the tombstone after I put in my new default face replacements (a mix of joedy and trapping's), which are so fabulous, so they all look so good. The orphans are not linked to anyone-yet! The adoption pool is ready for business!
So glad to see another update. Looks like you're getting your posting mojo back (knock wood).
All those toddlers...squeeeeee!
(Pssst....Make a social group of your friends with the most cleaning and mechanical points. Invite them over "just for fun." Influence one to clean, one to repair, one to play with the most desperate toddler. Make a meal, go to bed. They'll stay till their needs drop to critical, by which time your house is much less of a shambles, you're nicely rested, your friends have improved their relationships, and your toddlers are much better socialized.
Also, pets. With pet beds. And accessible bowls. Just sayin'.)
I loved the photo of Valterri after Tabitha's enthusiastic cheer at his potty training, his face just seems to saying "Calm down before you hurt yourself".
Running an orphanage seems to always feel like you're playing an ISBI for some reason. It never seems to get any easier either. The kids are so adorable though! It will be interesting to see if any of them get adopted out to other families in Ste-Margo.
SQUEEEEE! As you probably could guess, I loved this update. ;) All the kids are so darn adorable! And oh yeah, I know the pain of playing the Orphanage... Before my late Social Worker adopted a teen to help with the kids, she definitely had a hard time taking care of all the kids. Especially since I think I had double the amount of kids at the beginning! :o
( ... )
Heehee, well your orphans inspired me so much! (Next up: teen center?! maybe?) I can't remember the last time I used smart milk in my game-I just never think about those reward objects! Does it really make toddler training that much faster? I can't even remember! And my Watch Kids Enabled mod stopped working for awhile and then just started working again, even with Visitor Controller, so I have nooo idea how that happened... But I'm glad it's working again because it's so useful!
I'm so glad you're rethinking your hiatus! Although I totally understand if you still need a break. We all do sometimes! <3
Silly you :D Smart milk makes toddler training SO much faster. I think it's atleast three times faster! Oh wow, that mod works for you even with Visitor Controller?! In my game with VC, the "nanny" always left the lot when kids went to sleep, unless I moved a piece of furniture right in front of the door so that they were trapped inside the house! :o But now it runs like a dream.
Yeah...I don't know, maybe I'll take a break (I wrote "bread" at first!) from updating atleast. Or not. ;P Usually, when I decide to go on hiatus I manage to stay away from the game and community only a week or so. :D
Oh, your Teen Center would be fantastic, I'm sure! :)
LOLing at the idea of a barricaded-in nanny! So devious! I haven't looked too closely at what changed in between when it stopped working and when it started again (possibly renaming one of the files to load before/after the other??), so hopefully whatever is "fixed" stays that way!
Do whatever you need to do! I take breaks alllll the time and don't look at sims things for weeks and weeks when I don't have time or when I just don't feel like it, which happens too. :o)
