lol, i'm not much help and i know i don't know you that well...but my cousin came out to me and a few friends the past few months and has only dated a slew of spanish professors. specifically teachers in her department at her university. except a) they aren't gay or even bi, and b) they're in some complicated relationship and well, c) the whole professor situation

lorddd. why can't us girls just find some good, nice guys (or girls) ;)

i know, huh? it's a jungle out there.

i keep joking to my friends that i'm too picky. for sure, i evaluate people for a living. so you sit there over coffee with someone and think, are they depressed? do they have a personality disorder? how sound are their decision-making processes? are they affect congruent? what are their coping styles? at what points is the speech pattern pressured?

my friend tells me that it makes perfect sense that i'm attracting nurses, because they are in a related field (physical health to mental health) and are caretakers by nature. that may well be, but they've also been a bit (or, like #4, WAAAAY more than a bit) crazy. tbo, it can't be easy to date me, it's like getting a damn psych eval.

how about you? caught up in the mate market as well?

That's a pretty easy conclusion to draw, professional or not, based on her history, and kudos to you for pointing it out. Sometimes we just can't see things like that in ourselves. We need to be told. Did her reaction completely turn you off, as in, no future dates to be had with her ( ... )
