Same Boat, Different World

It's so funny that we're on the same place in our lives but half a world away. My Ayyam i ha was similarly off balance since i was mourning the impending loss of friend and boyfriend. I did decorate and make lots of cookies for us to eat. Yay. It was nice to open presents from mom and dad though.

I'm also moving on in 6 months, be it to a new job in Niger or somewhere else, or a new life in America. I'm having a lot of mixed feelings right now and am wondering if i'm starting to check out mentally and see it all as down hill from here. We'll see what happens when i finally make it back to the G side.

Hugs babe and know that i'm feeling the same on a lot of your issues.

I'm posting two days in a row!
I'm so bad at staying in touch with people, it's ridiculous.
Anyway, just wanted to wish you a Happy Ayyam-i-Ha!! And be careful of yourself with the fasting. Keep some apple juice on hand in case your sugar drops - it's more likely to do that if you're exposed to much heat or sun.

allez, viens is such a classic, how could i forget? haha actually all i remember is those vidoes with all those crazy french kids with funny hair talking about themselves, lol. and then we would pick out which of the french guys were the cutest, so educational!
