victory of technology! It amazes me how our lives abroad are so different now from mom and dad's, at least in africa. i remember them telling stories about how they had to plan phone calls home months in advance via letter and then find someone with a land line. Today i chatted with joyce in london, via text from the convenience?? of a crowded bush taxi ripping down the semi paved roads of Niger.

Ain't life grand!
