Hypnosis

listened to a very interesting interview between George Noory and "Hypnoman" on Coast to Coast AM.  Apparently hypnosis has been used as an anesthetic in surgery!  I had no idea that hypnosis could do that!  The Australian Hypnosis guy that George interviewed has been doing this professionally for most of his life, and he has helped people die

That would be interesting. There has bee a lot of success in getting people to stop smoking. The thing about hynosis iss that you cannot be convinced to do anything you would not be willing to do. For example, I would not be able to make you rob a bank if you were not already willing to do so consciously.

The other thing about hypnosis is that if you take something away, you MUST replace it with something. Craving a smoke replaced with chewing sugarless gum, for example.

But I have never heard of changing negativity or depression. That would be interesting.
