We are at a precipice. This is the end of one era and the beginning of another. The “real” world that so many people believe in, here in America is not the world you see on your TV sets, that is the world that the government and ( Read more... )

Personally, I think the days of the American Empire as a super power are past. The United States is China's bitch, and if you don't believe me, go into a mutherfucking Wal-Mart-the modern day Medici cartel-and chances are, you'll probably spot on.

China and India are going to be the next super powers, if only by numbers, but also how they seem to be getting more and more technological. Gone are the days when either are third world or a developing nation.

Someone of our mutual acquaintance came up to visit me a week ago now. He was rather disappointed there was not a thriving nightlife like down below, but was glad to be away to clear his head. But that is another story. During our talks, he mentioned the nation-state was ripe for a revolution. Either that or a fall.

I reckon it's a roll of the bones...

I have seen this coming since 2003. I remember talking about my prophetic dreams of a war with China, in which United States was being occupied by the Chinese, Koreans and Mexican army. Any time I have discussed this, most people scream at me that I am wrong, wrong, wrong! It is nice to hear from you that you see this danger too ( ... )

I think the first sign I saw of things falling apart was 1996CE, when the government had shut downs because of its spending. A little thing, but something of an omen, none the less. Then, the 2000CE election. My grandmother failed to see in the humor in my observation that I figured the fall of the United States government would be more like Mad Max than a bunch of bloated white men in suits quibbling over fucking Florida. The Onion had hilarious, beautiful, and poignant coverage of it in their funny little way.

When I hear someone go on positive or negative about cesar I just kind of shake my head. That cat's just a figurehead, at best, and an effigy to burn, at worst. Ideally, the government was a triad of Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. Although, these days, I'm more inclined to think it's the House and Senate that run the show, and they're all finger fucking big business and special interests ( ... )

Wow Turning Libertarian, the republicans finally are considering health care reform. Where was this 10 years ago? They are only doing something now because Obama is forcing their hand. If they were in power, we wouldn't even be discussing health care reform because they don't care about these issues or the most vulnerable people they matter too. This party is phoney, corrupt, and inept. I'm no democrat and I'm pretty frustrated with them as a whole, but c'mon, these republicans had their chances and they blew it in so many ways. Don't be such a gullible fool and start feeding into their only weak message of obama being some commie or marxist. Weak! I'm out of here, I have to go to the commie library and then I'm off to visit my friend at the commie firehouse and then pick my kids up from the school at the local commune. Such an evil world I live in. I just hope there's no socialism in heaven.
